A allwch chi gredu ein bod yn agosáu at ddiwedd wythnos 7?! Mae wedi bod yn hyfryd cael y plant yn ôl yr wythnos hon ar ôl hanner tymor.
Uchafbwyntiau’r Wythnos
I ddechrau’r wythnos, dysgodd y plant am y tymhorau a chreon nhw lun gan ddefnyddio paent dyfrlliw. Blasodd y plant bwydydd gwahanol a llwyddon nhw i ddisgrifio’r bwydydd. Doedd neb yn hoffi’r siocled tywyll! Mae’r plant wedi mwynhau dysgu am ddathliadau gwahanol yr wythnos hon. Dysgon nhw am y cynhaeaf a chreon nhw goeden o ddiolch. Ysgrifennodd y plant diolch am bethau gwahanol. Daeth ‘teulu’ lan llawer! Yna dysgodd y plant am noson tân gwyllt. Disgrifion nhw'r tân gwyllt gan ddefnyddio ansoddeiriau ac wedyn, ysgrifennodd y plant cerdd gan ffocysu ar y synhwyrau. Roedd y plant wrth eu boddau yn dysgu am y Nadolig, Y Pasg a Dydd Miwsig Cymru. Creon nhw gardiau Nadolig, aethon nhw ar helfa wyau Pasg a gwrandon nhw ar gerddoriaeth Gymraeg a’u sgorio allan o 10. Ar ddiwedd yr wythnos, arbrofon ni gydag adnoddau solid, hylif a nwy. Roedd y plant wrth eu boddau yn gweld yr adnoddau yn troi o un ffurf i’r llall.
Patrymau Iaith a Geirfa’r Wythnos Nesaf
Mae ein thema ar gyfer yr wythnos nesaf, ‘Cartrefi’, yn golygu y byddwn yn dysgu llawer o strwythurau iaith a geirfa. Dyma ddetholiad o’r prif batrymau iaith y byddwn yn eu hymarfer wythnos nesaf.

Dyddiadau Pwysig i’ch Dyddiadur
WYTHNOS NESAF: Ar 14/06/2023, byddwn yn mynd ar daith gerdded o amgylch yr ardal lleol er mwyn parhau i ddysgu'r iaith yn yr awyr agored. Mae gennym eisoes eich caniatâd ar gyfer y daith hon ar eich ffurflen dderbyn. Felly, dim ond os nad ydych chi am i'ch plentyn fynychu'r ymweliad addysgol y mae angen i chi gysylltu â ni. Nid oes unrhyw gost am yr ymweliad hwn. Mae trefniadau cinio arferol yn parhau ar y diwrnod hwn. Cofiwch esgidiau da, synhwyrol a chôt gynnes, gwrth-ddŵr.

Dear Families,
Can you believe that we are nearing the end of week 7?! Its been lovely to have the children back this week after half term.
Highlights of the Week
To start the week, the children learned about the seasons and created a picture using watercolour paints. The children tasted different foods and were able to describe the foods. Nobody liked the dark chocolate! The children have enjoyed learning about different celebrations this week. They learned about the harvest and created a tree of thanks. The children wrote thanks for different things. 'Family' came up a lot! Then the children learned about fireworks night. They described the fireworks using adjectives and then the children wrote a poem focusing on the senses. The children loved learning about seasonal vocabulary like Christmas, Easter and Welsh Music Day. They created Christmas cards, they went on an Easter egg hunt and they listened to Welsh music and scored them out of 10. At the end of the week, we experimented with solid, liquid and gas resources. The children loved seeing the resources turn from one form to another.
Next Week’s Language Patterns and Vocabulary
Our theme for next week, ‘Homes’, means that there are lots of language structures and vocabulary that we will be learning. Here is a selection of the main language patterns that we will be practicing next week.

Important Dates for Your Diary
NEXT WEEK: On 14/06/2023, we will be going for a walk around the local area to continue learning the language outdoors. We already have your permission for this trip on your admission form. Therefore, you only need to contact us if you do not want your child to attend the educational visit. There is no cost for this visit. Normal lunch arrangements continue on this day. Remember good, sensible shoes and a warm, waterproof coat.
THE WEEK AFTER: 22/06/2023. Trip to Cwmbran Town Centre. We already have your permission for this trip on your admission form. Therefore, you only need to contact us if you do not want your child to attend the educational visit. There is no cost for this visit. Normal lunch arrangements continue on this day. Remember good, sensible shoes and a warm, waterproof coat.
ON THE HORIZON: Remember that our graduation ceremony is on 05/07/2023 at 10am.
