Annwyl Deuluoedd,
Rydym wedi mwynhau wythnos arall yng Ngharreg Lam gyda’n plant bendigedig!
Uchafbwyntiau’r Wythnos
Roedd y plant wedi mwynhau ein thema newydd yr wythnos yma. Mae’n llawn caneuon hwylus ac mae’r plant wedi mwynhau dawnsio ac ychwanegu symudiadau. I ddechrau, dysgodd y plant am rannau’r corff. Dysgodd y plant sgript hefyd a dangosodd y plant hyder i’w actio mas o flaen y grŵp. Trefnodd y plant diwrnod ysgol gan ychwanegu amseroedd ar gloc hefyd. Yn sicr uchafbwynt yr wythnos oedd ein trip i Hollywood Bowl. Roedd y plant llawn cyffro ac roedd e’n braf clywed y plant yn troi at y Gymraeg hefyd. Roedd y plant hefyd wedi defnyddio rhwymyn i wella anafiadau. Yng nghanol yr wythnos dysgodd y plant sut i fwcio apwyntiad i’w gilydd yn y doctor. Yna cafon nhw cyfle i chwarae rôl. Yn y prynhawn roedd amser am fach o gelf. Defnyddiodd y plant ‘cotton buds’ i greu sgerbwd. Tuag at ddiwedd yr wythnos dysgodd y plant am yr offer gwahanol a sut i’w ddefnyddio. Tuag at ddiwedd yr wythnos, roedd sesiwn ganu gyda Mr Beecham.I orffen yr wythnos roedd cyfle i ail ymweld ag amser ac roedd angen i’r plant trefnu amseroedd gwahanol ar glociau. Roedd y plant wedi mwynhau esgus bod yn nwylo’r cloc ar gloc enfawr hefyd. I orffen, yn y prynhawn roedd y plant wedi dylunio meddygfa a defnyddio’r eirfa oedd gyda nhw i esbonio beth oedd yn digwydd.

Mae ein thema ar gyfer yr wythnos nesaf, ‘Y Golchdŷ’, yn golygu y byddwn yn dysgu llawer o strwythurau iaith a geirfa. Dyma ddetholiad o’r prif batrymau iaith y byddwn yn eu hymarfer wythnos nesaf.

Dyddiadau Pwysig i’ch Dyddiadur
YR WYTHNOS NESAF: Ar 04/10/2023, byddwn yn mynd i Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Cymru yn Sain Ffagan er mwyn cymryd rhan mewn gweithdy trwy’r Gymraeg. Mae gennym eisoes eich caniatâd ar gyfer y daith hon ar eich ffurflen dderbyn. Felly, dim ond os nad ydych chi am i'ch plentyn fynychu'r ymweliad addysgol y mae angen i chi gysylltu â ni. Nid oes unrhyw gost am yr ymweliad hwn - mae costau wedi cyfro gan Garreg Lam. Fodd bynnag, bydd angen cinio paciedig os nad ydych chi wedi archebu gyda ni. Hefyd, bydd angen potel o ddŵr i'ch plentyn. Cofiwch esgidiau da, synhwyrol a chôt gynnes, ddi-ddŵr.
YR WYTHNOS AR ÔL:
Mae gennym Cyfarfodydd Cynnydd a Lles disgyblion yn rhedeg ar 10/10/2023 i 12/10/2023 ar ôl ysgol. Mae hwn yn gyfle gwych i ddarganfod sut mae'ch plentyn yn gwneud hyd yn hyn, sut maen nhw wedi setlo a beth yw eu camau nesaf. Fel y gwyddoch o gylchlythyr wythnos diwethaf, mae’r cyfarfodydd ar gael mewn person (ein dewis cyntaf), cyfarfodydd dros y ffôn neu Microsoft Teams. Dylech chi nawr wedi cael cadarnhad o’r amser yr ydych chi’n cwrdd gyda staff y ganolfan. Os na, ebostiwch post@carreg-lam.com a byddwn yn dod yn ôl atoch cyn gynted â phosibl.
Ar 13/10/2023, bydd plant yn cael diwrnod trosglwyddo yn ôl i'w dosbarthiadau prif ffrwd. Bydd ein staff yn ymweld â'ch plant yn yr ysgol yn hytrach na'ch plentyn yn dod i'n safle. Mae hwn yn gyswllt anhygoel o bwysig yn ôl ag ysgol eich plentyn fel y gallant gadw mewn cysylltiad agos â ffrindiau.

We have enjoyed another week at Carreg Lam with our wonderful children!
Highlights of the Week
The children enjoyed our new theme this week. It's full of fun songs and the children have enjoyed dancing and adding movements. Initially, the children learned about the parts of the body. The children also learned a script and the children showed confidence to act out in front of the group. The children also organised a school day adding times on a clock. Certainly the highlight of the week was our trip to Hollywood Bowl. The children were excited and it was nice to hear the children turn to the Welsh language too. The children had also used a bandage to cure injuries. In the middle of the week the children learned how to book an appointment to each other at the Doctor. Then they had a chance to play a role. In the afternoon, there was a time for arts and crafts. The children used 'Cotton Buds' to create a skeleton. Towards the end of the week the children learned about the different equipment and how to use it. Towards the end of the week, there was a singing session with Mr Beecham. To finish the week, there was an opportunity to re-visit time and the children needed to arrange different times on clocks. The children enjoyed pretending to be in the hands of the clock on a huge clock as well. Finally, in the afternoon the children had designed a surgery and used the vocabulary with them to explain what was happening.
Next Week’s Language Patterns and Vocabulary
Our theme for next week, ‘The Laundrette’, means that there are lots of language structures and vocabulary that we will be learning. Here is a selection of the main language patterns that we will be practicing next week.

Important Dates for Your Diary
NEXT WEEK: On 04/10/2023, we will go to the National Museum of Wales at St Fagans to take part in a Welsh language workshop. We already have your permission for this trip on your admission form. Therefore, you only need to contact us if you do not want your child to attend the educational visit. There is no cost for this visit - costs have been covered by Carreg Lam. However, your child will need a packed lunch if you haven't ordered with us. You will also need a bottle of water. Remember good, sensible shoes and a warm, waterproof coat.
THE WEEK AFTER:
We have Pupil Progress and Wellbeing Meetings running on 10/10/2023 to 12/10/2023 after school. This is a great opportunity to find out how your child is doing so far, how they have settled and what their next steps are. As you know from our newsletter last week, the meetings are available in person (our first choice), telephone meetings or Microsoft Teams. You should now have confirmation message of the time you will be meeting with the Centre's staff. If not, email post@carreg-lam.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
On 13/10/2023, children will be having a transition day back to their main-stream classes. Our staff will be visiting your children in school rather than your child coming to our site. This is an incredibly important link back with your child’s school so that they can keep in close contact with friends.
