Annwyl Deuluoedd,

Dydyn ni methu credu ein bod ni wedi cael 6 wythnos gyda’n plant nawr! Wow! Mae amser yn hedfan!

Uchafbwyntiau’r Wythnos

Mae’n anodd credu bod y plant hanner ffordd trwy Garreg Lam yn barod! Roedd hi’n ddechreuad gwych i’r wythnos gyda’r plant yn cwblhau arbrawf i weld ble sychodd y dillad orau. Roedd e’n braf clywed y plant yn esbonio sut i olchi dillad a chwblhau casgliad syml. Y diwrnod nesaf roedd y plant wedi mwynhau mesur breichiau ei gilydd. Defnyddiodd y plant llinyn er mwyn mesur hyd eu breichiau cyn cymharu nhw i gyd gan ddefnyddio iaith gymharol. Roedd hefyd cyfle ail ymweld gyda’r caffi. Roedd y plant yn hyderus iawn wrth ddefnyddio’r Gymraeg wrth chwarae rôl. Yng nghanol yr wythnos roedd rhaid i’r plant gweithio fel tîm wrth chwarae gemau parasiwt. Cafodd y plant llawer o hwyl yn ceisio symud y bel ar draws ac ar hyd y parasiwt a hefyd mewn i’r tyllau. Yn y prynhawn roedd y plant yn wych wrth ymarfer sgiliau adio ar dynnu. Roedden nhw’n swnllyd wrth ymarfer tabl 2 hefyd. Tuag at ddiwedd yr wythnos chwaraeodd y plant yn y feddygfa gan ddefnyddio amryw o eirfa a phatrymau gwahanol. Roedd y plant hefyd wedi defnyddio cloriannau er mwyn pwyso a chydbwyso offer gwahanol. I orffen yr wythnos, mae’r plant yn mwynhau bod nôl gyda'i ffrindiau yn y dosbarth heddiw ac rydym yn edrych ymlaen at glywed am eu diwrnodau ac gwahodd nhw yn ôl dydd Llun.

Dear Families,

We can't believe we've had 6 weeks with the children now! Wow! Time is flying!

Highlights of the Week

It's hard to believe that the children are halfway through Carreg Lam already! It was a great start to the week with the children completing an experiment to see where the best clothes dried up. It was nice to hear the children explain how to wash clothes and complete a simple collection. The next day the children enjoyed measuring each other's arms. The children used string to measure the length of their arms before comparing them all using comparative language. There was also a chance to revisit the café. The children were very confident in using the Welsh language in playing. In the middle of the week the children had to work as a team while playing parachute games. The children had a lot of fun trying to move the ball across and along the parachute and also into the holes. In the afternoon, the children were great in practicing additional addition skills. They were noisy while practicing Table 2 as well. Towards the end of the week the children played in the surgery using a variety of different vocabulary and patterns. The children had also used scales to weigh and balance different equipment. To finish the week, the children enjoy being back with her friends in class today and we look forward to hearing about their days and inviting them back on Monday.
