Annwyl Deuluoedd,
Dydyn ni methu credu ein bod ni wedi cael 6 wythnos gyda’n plant nawr! Wow! Mae amser yn hedfan!
Uchafbwyntiau’r Wythnos
Am wythnos hyfryd i orffen cyn hanner tymor. I ddechrau'r wythnos roedd y plant wedi cwblhau arbrawf a gwneud casgliad i esbonio ble sychodd y dillad y gorau. Roedd hyn yn gyfle gwych i weld pwy ragfynegodd yn gywir. Roedd pawb gwir wedi mwynhau taro targed ac yna defnyddio ei sgiliau adio a thynnu i gyfrifo'r sgôr hefyd. Defnyddiodd pawb adnoddau amrywiol i gyfrifo'r ateb. Yn symud ymlaen yn yr wythnos cafodd y plant cyfle i greu cwrs rhwystr er mwyn caffael iaith safle ac roedd e'n grêt manteisio ar y tywydd braf mas tu fas. Yna, roedd rhaid iddyn nhw wrando yn ofalus i'w partner er mwyn rhoi'r multilinc yn lle cywir. Yn y prynhawn, dysgodd y plant sut i fynegi barn am fwyd ac roedd cyfle i ail-ymweld gydag enwau bwydydd gwahanol. Roedd y plant wedi mwynhau rhedeg o un ochr i'r llall er mwyn mynegi pa fwydydd maen nhw’n hoffi/dim yn hoffi. Uchafbwynt yr wythnos i'r plant oedd chwarae rôl yn y caffi ac yn y feddygfa. Maen nhw wrth eu bodd yn actio a chlywon ni llawer iawn o Gymraeg fantastic. Mae'r plant gwir wedi tyfu mewn hyder. Yn symud tuag at ddiwedd yr wythnos, defnyddio'r plant peli ping pong er mwyn gofyn ac ateb cwestiynau. Roedd sesiwn canu gyda Cherdd Torfaen Music ac yna i orffen yn y prynhawn roedd cyfle ddylunio meddygfa ei hun. Roedd y plant yn frwdfrydig iawn. Mae'r plant yn gyffrous i dreulio diwrnod yn eu dosbarth cyn y gwyliau ac edrychwn ymlaen at eu gweld ar y 3ydd o Fehefin yn dilyn y gwyliau.

Dear Families,
We can't believe we've had 6 weeks with the children now! Wow! Time is flying!
Highlights of the Week
What a lovely week to finish before the half term holiday. To start the week the children completed the experiment and wrote a conclusion to explain where the clothes dried the best. This was a great opportunity to see who predicted correctly. Everyone really enjoyed hitting a target and then using their addition and subtraction skills to calculate the score as well. Everyone used various resources to figure out the answer. Moving forward in the week the children had the opportunity to create an obstacle course to acquire the prepositional language and it was great to take advantage of the good weather out outside. They then had to listen carefully to their partner to put the multilink in the right place alongside cups. In the afternoon, the children learned how to express their opinions about food and had the opportunity to re-visit with different food names. The children enjoyed running from one side to the other to express what foods they like/don't like. The highlight of the week for the children was role-playing in the café and at the surgery. They love acting and we heard a great deal of fantastic Welsh. The children really have grown in confidence. Moving towards the end of the week, the children used ping pong balls to ask and answer questions. This was followed by a singing session with Cerdd Torfaen Music after lunch. To finish in the afternoon was an opportunity to design a surgery of their own. The children were very enthusiastic. The children are excited to spend a day in their class before the holidays and we look forward to seeing them on June 3rd following the break.
