Annwyl Deuluoedd,
Dydyn ni methu credu ein bod ni wedi cael 6 wythnos gyda’n plant nawr! Wow! Mae amser yn hedfan!
Uchafbwyntiau’r Wythnos
Ar ddechrau’r yr wythnos aeth y plant i Sain Ffagan. Roedd e’n ddiwrnod gwerthfawr ac roedd e’n braf clywed y plant yn trafod beth welsom nhw gan ddefnyddio’r iaith clywon nhw ar y trip. Roedd y plant mor flinedig ar y ffordd yn ôl. Yng nghanol yr wythnos cafodd y plant hwyl yn ail ymweld gyda'r feddygfa a chwarae rôl gan gasglu gwybodaeth a thrin ei gilydd. Maen nhw wrth eu bodd yn actio a chlywon ni llawer iawn o Gymraeg fantastic. Mae'r plant gwir wedi tyfu mewn hyder. Roedd hefyd cyfle chwarae yn y caffi. Roedd y plant yn wych wrth annog ei gilydd. Yn symud ymlaen i weddill yr wythnos, roedd pawb gwir wedi mwynhau taro targed ac yna defnyddio ei sgiliau adio a thynnu i gyfrifo'r sgôr hefyd. Defnyddiodd pawb adnoddau amrywiol i gyfrifo'r ateb. Uchafbwynt yr wythnos yw treulio diwrnod yn ôl yn yr ysgol gyda ffrindiau.
Patrymau Iaith a Geirfa’r Wythnos Nesaf
Mae ein thema ar gyfer yr wythnos nesaf, ‘Synhwyrau a’r Tymhorau’, yn golygu y byddwn yn dysgu llawer o strwythurau iaith a geirfa. Dyma ddetholiad o’r prif batrymau iaith y byddwn yn eu hymarfer wythnos nesaf.

Dyddiadau Pwysig i’ch Dyddiadur
Ar 17/10/2025 a'r 24/10/2025, bydd plant yn cael diwrnod trosglwyddo yn ôl i'w dosbarthiadau prif ffrwd. Bydd ein staff yn ymweld â'ch plant yn yr ysgol yn hytrach na'ch plentyn yn dod i'n safle. Mae hwn yn gyswllt anhygoel o bwysig yn ôl ag ysgol eich plentyn fel y gallant gadw mewn cysylltiad agos â ffrindiau. Dyma fydd dechrau ein staff o gynllunio ar gyfer Cam 2 o'n rhaglen trochi iaith fel y manylir uchod.
Wythnos Trosglwyddo, 03/10/2025 tan y 07/10/2025, bydd y plant yn derbyn wythnos pontio i'w dosbarthiadau prif-ffrwd.
AR Y GORWEL: Ar 12/11/2025, byddwn yn mynd ar daith gerdded o amgylch yr ardal lleol er mwyn parhau i ddysgu'r iaith yn yr awyr agored. Mae gennym eisoes eich caniatâd ar gyfer y daith hon ar eich ffurflen dderbyn. Felly, dim ond os nad ydych chi am i'ch plentyn fynychu'r ymweliad addysgol y mae angen i chi gysylltu â ni. Nid oes unrhyw gost am yr ymweliad hwn. Mae trefniadau cinio arferol yn parhau ar y diwrnod hwn. Cofiwch esgidiau da, synhwyrol a chôt gynnes, gwrth-ddŵr.

We can't believe we've had 6 weeks with the children now! Wow! Time is flying!
Highlights of the Week
At the start of the week, the children went to St Fagans. It was a valuable day and it was lovely to hear the children discussing what they had seen, using the language they had heard on the trip. The children were so tired on the way back. In the middle of the week, the children had fun revisiting the doctor’s surgery and role-playing by gathering information and treating each other. They absolutely love acting, and we heard lots of fantastic Welsh. The children have truly grown in confidence. There was also an opportunity to play in the café. The children were brilliant at encouraging one another. Moving on to the rest of the week, everyone really enjoyed hitting the target and then using their addition and subtraction skills to calculate the score. Everyone used a variety of resources to work out the answers. The highlight of the week was spending a day back at school with friends.
Next Week’s Language Patterns and Vocabulary
Our theme for next week, ‘Senses and the Seasons ’, means that there are lots of language structures and vocabulary that we will be learning. Here is a selection of the main language patterns that we will be practicing next week.

Important Dates for Your Diary
On 17/10/2025 and 24/10/2025, children will have a transfer day back to their mainstream classes. Our staff will visit your children at school rather than your child coming to our site. This is an incredibly important link back to your child's school so they can keep in close contact with friends. This will be the start of our staff planning for Phase 2 of our language immersion program as detailed above.
Transition Week, 03/10/2025 until 07/10/2025, the children will receive a transition week to their mainstream classes.
ON THE HORIZON: On 12/11/2025, we will be going for a walk around the local area to continue learning the language outdoors. We already have your permission for this trip on your admission form. Therefore, you only need to contact us if you do not want your child to attend the educational visit. There is no cost for this visit. Normal lunch arrangements continue on this day. Remember good, sensible shoes and a warm, waterproof coat.
