Annwyl Deuluoedd,
Dydyn ni methu credu ein bod ni wedi cael 6 wythnos gyda’n plant nawr! Wow! Mae amser yn hedfan!
Uchafbwyntiau’r Wythnos
Ar ddechrau’r wythnos cafodd y plant y cyfle i ddylunio cwrs rhwystr ac esbonio’r cwrs i ffrind. Wedyn, roedd amser i weld ble sychodd y dillad y gorau gan esbonio pam. Cymysgodd y plan paent gwahanol i ddarganfod beth fydd yn digwydd ac yna cafodd y plant lawer o hwyl yn ymarfer sgiliau mesur trwy fesur gwrthrychau gwahanol gan gynnwys hyd ardal Carreg Lam. Roedd hefyd amser i chwarae gemau. Ymhellach yn yr wythnos, dysgodd y plant am arian gwahanol ac roedd cyfle i ddefnyddio'r arian i greu patrymau gwahanol. Dysgodd y plant am rysáit gwahanol mewn parau ac roedd angen darganfod beth oedd ar goll. I orffen yr wythnos, roedd cyfle i ail ymweld gyda’i holl sgiliau mathemateg trwy chwarae amryw o gemau.

We can't believe we've had 6 weeks with the children now! Wow! Time is flying!
Highlights of the Week
At the start of the week, the children had the opportunity to design an obstacle course and explain the course to a friend. Then, there was time to see which clothes dried the best and explain why. They mixed different paint colours to find out what would happen, and then the children had lots of fun practicing measuring skills by measuring different objects, including the length of Carreg Lam. There was also time to play games. Later in the week, the children learned about different money and had the opportunity to use the money to create different patterns. The children learned about different recipes in pairs and needed to find out what was missing. To finish the week, there was an opportunity to revisit all their maths skills through playing a variety of games.
Next Week’s Language Patterns and Vocabulary
Our theme for next week, ‘Senses and the Seasons ’, means that there are lots of language structures and vocabulary that we will be learning. Here is a selection of the main language patterns that we will be practicing next week.
