Wythnos 4 / Week 4
Cohort 8 / Carfan 8
Annwyl Deuluoedd,
Rydym wedi mwynhau wythnos arall yng Ngharreg Lam gyda’n plant bendigedig!

Uchafbwyntiau’r Wythnos
Roedd y plant wedi mwynhau ein thema newydd yr wythnos yma. Mae’n llawn caneuon hwylus ac mae’r plant wedi mwynhau dawnsio ac ychwanegu symudiadau. I ddechrau, dysgodd y plant am rannau’r corff. Dysgodd y plant sgript er mwyn deall sut i helpu rhywun sydd wedi brifo. Dangosodd y plant hyder i’w actio mas o flaen y grŵp hefyd. Wedyn roedd plant gwir wedi mwynhau cyflawni jig-so enfawr o'r sgerbwd a gweithion nhw yn wych fel tîm. Yn symud ymlaen, dysgodd y plant sut i fwcio apwyntiad i’w gilydd yn y doctor. Yna cafon nhw cyfle i chwarae rôl yn y feddygfa. Yn y prynhawn roedd amser am fach o gelf hefyd a defnyddiodd y plant ‘cotton buds’ i greu sgerbwd gydag anaf. Yn sicr uchafbwynt yr wythnos oedd ein trip i Hollywood Bowl yng nghanol yr wythnos. Roedd y plant llawn cyffro ac roedd e’n braf gweld hyder y plant i ddefnyddio'r Gymraeg wrth chwarae. Yn symud ymlaen i ddiwedd yr wythnos, roedd y plant wedi gwrando ar anafiadau ei gilydd yn ofalus cyn defnyddio rhwymyn i wella'r anafiadau. Tuag at ddiwedd yr wythnos dysgodd y plant am yr offer gwahanol a sut i’w ddefnyddio. Mae pendant wedi bod yn wythnos brysur ar ôl gwyliau'r banc ac mae'r plant wedi gweithio'n anodd iawn.

Dear Families,
We have enjoyed another week at Carreg Lam with our wonderful children!

Highlights of the Week
The children enjoyed our new theme this week. It is full of easy songs and the children have enjoyed dancing and adding movements. To begin with, the children learned about the parts of the body. The children learned a script to understand how to help someone who is hurt. The children also showed confidence to act it out in front of the group. Then the children really enjoyed completing a huge jigsaw of the skeleton and they worked brilliantly as a team. Moving on, the children learned how to book an appointment for each other at the doctor. They then had the opportunity to play a role in the surgery. In the afternoon there was also time for a bit of art and the children used 'cotton buds' to create a skeleton with an injury. Certainly the highlight of the week was our trip to the Hollywood Bowl in the middle of the week. The children were full of excitement and it was nice to see the confidence of the children to use the Welsh language while playing. Moving on to the end of the week, the children had listened carefully to each other's injuries before using a bandage to heal the injuries. Towards the end of the week the children learned about the different equipment and how to use it. It has definitely been a busy week after the bank holiday and the children have worked very hard.
