Annwyl Deuluoedd,
Dydyn ni methu credu ein bod ni wedi cael 6 wythnos gyda’n plant nawr! Wow! Mae amser yn hedfan!
Uchafbwyntiau’r Wythnos
Ar ddechrau’r wythnos cafodd y plant y cyfle i ail ymweld â'r rhagfynegiad a gweld ble sychodd y dillad y gorau gan esbonio pam. Roedd nifer o blant yn siomedig roedd hi wedi bwrw glaw dros y penwythnos. Defnyddiodd plant ei sgiliau gwrando er mwyn dylunio dillad, ond roedd rhai yn rhy fach neu yn rhy fawr. Yn symud ymlaen, cafodd plant y cyfle i ymarfer tablau, defnyddio numicon a grid lluosi er mwyn cwblhau her lluosi. Yn y prynhawn roedd y plant wedi mwynhau chware taro'r targed er mwyn ymarfer sgiliau tynnu. Yn sicr roedd y plant wedi mwynhau chwarae rôl unwaith eto yn y caffi ac yn y feddygfa. Ar ddiwedd yr wythnos llwyddodd y plant adrodd stori am y tywydd fel grŵp.

Dear Families,
We can't believe we've had 6 weeks with the children now! Wow! Time is flying!
Highlights of the Week
At the beginning of the week, the children had the opportunity to revisit their prediction and see where the clothes had dried best, explaining their reasons why. Many of the children were disappointed that it had rained over the weekend. The children used their listening skills to design clothes, although some were too small or too large. Moving forward, they had the opportunity to practise their times tables, using Numicon and a multiplication grid to complete a multiplication challenge. In the afternoon, the children enjoyed playing a "hit the target" game to practise their subtraction skills. The children certainly enjoyed role-playing once again in the café and the doctor's surgery. At the end of the week, the children successfully worked together as a group to retell a story about the weather.

Our theme for next week, ‘Senses and the Seasons ’, means that there are lots of language structures and vocabulary that we will be learning. Here is a selection of the main language patterns that we will be practicing next week.
