Annwyl Deuluoedd,
Wrth i ni ddod at ddiwedd wythnos 8 yng Ngharreg Lam, mae'r plant wedi bod yn mwynhau dysgu mwy o iaith a geirfa!
Uchafbwyntiau’r Wythnos
Ar ddechrau’r wythnos dysgodd y plant am dai gwahanol ac adeiladon nhw stryd gyda blociau lliwgar. Cafodd y plant llawer o hwyl yn defnyddio amrywiaeth o siapiau i greu fflat, carafan a thai ac roedd y plant yn greadigol iawn wrth adeiladu stryd fel grŵp. Yna roedd y plant wedi dylunio amryw o ystafelloedd yn y tŷ gan fynegi pa ystafell oedd ei hoff ystafell a pham. Dysgodd y plant am ddodrefn gwahanol ac roedd y plant wedi mwynhau trafod ystafelloedd wely ei gilydd. Y diwrnod nesaf, gweithiodd y plant fel tîm i greu amrywiaeth o dai gwahanol gan ddefnyddio conau. Yna roedd cyfle adolygu siapiau trwy greu tai gwahanol mas o siapiau 2D a chwarae bingo siapiau 3D. Trwy’r wythnos dysgodd y plant stori'r tri mochyn bach hefyd. Maen nhw’n adrodd y stori yn frwdfrydig ac mae gwir werth ei weld. I orffen yr wythnos, dysgodd y plant am bobl sy’n gweithio a dysgodd y plant sut i ddisgrifio nhw hefyd. Dysgodd y plant tablau 2,5 a 10 trwy neidio o un hwp i’r llall yn y drefn gywir wrth adrodd y tablau.
Cyfleoedd Dysgu Adref
1. Ewch am dro o gwmpas yr ardal leol a chyfri'r mathau gwahanol o dai.
2. Adeiladwch dai gyda drws, simnai, ffenest, gardd, grisiau.
3. Dyluniwch ystafelloedd gan ychwanegu dodrefn gwahanol.
4. Ymarfer tabl 2, 5 a 10.
Patrymau Iaith a Geirfa’r Wythnos Nesaf
Mae ein thema ar gyfer yr wythnos nesaf, ‘Y Dref’, yn golygu y byddwn yn dysgu llawer o strwythurau iaith a geirfa. Dyma ddetholiad o’r prif batrymau iaith y byddwn yn eu hymarfer wythnos nesaf.

Dear Families,
As we come to the end of week 8 at Carreg Lam, the children have been enjoying learning more language and vocabulary!
Highlights of the Week
At the beginning of the week the children learned about different houses and they built a street with colourful blocks. The children had a lot of fun using a variety of shapes to create a flat, caravan and houses and the children were very creative when building a street as a group. The children then designed various rooms in the house expressing which room was their favourite room and why. The children learned about different furniture and the children enjoyed discussing each other's bedrooms. The next day, the children worked as a team to create a variety of different houses using cones. Then there was an opportunity to review shapes by creating lots of different houses from 2D shapes and playing bingo 3D shapes. All week the children also learned the story of the three little pigs. They tell the story enthusiastically and it is really worth seeing. To finish the week, the children learned about people who work and the children also learned how to describe them. The children learned tables 2,5 and 10 by jumping from one hoop to another in the correct order when reciting the tables.
Learning Opportunities at Home
1. Take a walk around the local area and count the different types of housing.
2. Build houses with a door, chimney, window, garden, staircase.
3. Design rooms adding different furniture.
4. Practise table 2, 5 and 10.
Next Week’s Language Patterns and Vocabulary
Our theme for next week, ‘The Town’, means that there are lots of language structures and vocabulary that we will be learning. Here is a selection of the main language patterns that we will be practicing next week.

26/03/2026, Graduation Ceremony. Don't forget that we will be holding our graduation ceremony between 10 and 11am. Bring along grannies and grandads too!
